The best (and prettiest) TP & bar soaps.

Who gives a crap? They do! This AU based company makes awesome TP wrapped in pretty paper (reuse to wrap gifts)! They not only make great products (with a “cheeky” sense of humor), the company has impact - 50% of profits are donated to improve sanitation in developing countries, what’s not to love? Check out their partner Good Time for their beautifully smelling (and lux lathering!) shampoo/conditioner/soap bars. Sold online.

What kind of sunscreen?

Sunscreen is definitely high on the list of products to use every, single day and unfortunately, plastic is pretty unavoidable here so do your research and chose the most effective and least harmful brands. We like Bask suncare a relative newcomer with a compelling, personal story. They’ve hit it out of the park with their moisturizing, no white cast, reef safe, highly effective products. We also like All Good (love their lip balms) & Think sunscreen, although they do tend to have a white cast.

Sustainably spun & refillable floss? Yes please!

Cocofloss is absolutely our floss of choice (and dentists agree)! Not only is it sustainably spun with recycled poly from water bottles, it’s also refillable. The company was founded by two women with a focus on making a better floss, reducing environmental impact and partners with Wildlife Conservation Network & Oceanworks to help their conservation efforts. They also make toothbrushes and toothpaste, but we haven’t tried those yet.

Body Lotion that isn’t in plastic!

It’s difficult to find good feeling and effective lotion that’s not in plastic, unless you have a bulk, fill up store near you. Hand in Hand is a certified B Corp with a range of products from soap to body lotion, mostly in aluminum packaging. Easy to find in grocery stores, online etc.
